Subject: Regarding changing starting address of userspace Heap and Stack sections
Date: Wed, 28 Sep 2022 13:27:10 +0000 [thread overview]

Hi,
From the memory map of a process, could see that user space Heap is allocated at lower address and Stack is allocated at higher addresses.
aaaae717c000-aaaae7263000 rw-p 00000000 00:00 0 [heap]
ffff83b1f000-ffff83b20000 r--p 0001f000 00:02 293 /lib/ld-2.30.so
ffff83b20000-ffff83b22000 rw-p 00020000 00:02 293 /lib/ld-2.30.so
ffffd42c6000-ffffd42e7000 rw-p 00000000 00:00 0 [stack]
We need to change heap and stack starting address to different location.(example, heap to 0x02507000 and stack to 0x7ffc3f2f1000)
Can you please let us know how to change the starting address of heap and stack and which files/parameters to be modified to achieve the same.
Thanks,
Nagaradhesh
