I won't mind you putting up a patch doing that for discussion and inclusion in -mm (if you do, then read_swap_cache_async should use it too), but it's not now an appropriate fix to the CONFIG_SWAP=n build issue. > > I need a fix for this. Yes, I'm inclined to your ifdeffery fix - one can go cleverer, but I'd say it's the appropriate fix now.
