Aah, I was actually talking about the events userspace _reads_. The free_pages_threshold field is only used if VMEVENT_TYPE_FREE_THRESHOLD bit is set. It should be cleaned up a bit but it in theory it supports watching other attributes as well. I've postponed the cleanup until I've figured out whether we can use perf which would make the whole syscall go away.
