That makes sense now, thanks. It doesn't seem, however, that any deep
black magic is required to fix this here.
Any reason why proportional scanning wouldn't work ?
If we have a very large nr_in_batch, and many nodes to scan, we can try
dividing them among present nodes in the proportion of existing objects
in the cache.
Or maybe even better, we can make deferring work node aware, so when you
defer, you don't defer to a global pool, but rather to a node copy.
