Subject: [patch 23/26] SLUB: Move sysfs operations outside of slub_lock
Date: Mon, 18 Jun 2007 02:59:01 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20070618095918.872887071@sgi.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20070618095838.238615343@sgi.com>
[-- Attachment #1: slub_lock_cleanup --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 2157 bytes --]
Sysfs can do a gazillion things when called. Make sure that we do
not call any sysfs functions while holding the slub_lock.
Just protect the essentials:
1. The list of all slab caches
2. The kmalloc_dma array
3. The ref counters of the slabs.
