Subject: [RFC PATCH v1 03/10] mm: truncate: Expose preparation steps for truncate_inode_pages_final()
Date: Mon, 23 Feb 2026 07:04:36 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <14fcfc2a032b85c7de09e9dd39668c8061742661.1771826352.git.ackerleytng@google.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <cover.1771826352.git.ackerleytng@google.com>

Expose preparation steps for truncate_inode_pages_final() to allow
preparation steps to be shared by filesystems that want to implement
truncation differently.

This preparation function will be used by guest_memfd in a later patch.
