Doing ARCH_DISCONTIGMEM_ENABLE=y turns off the FLATMEM option in the mm/Kconfig prompt because FLATMEM depends on !ARCH_DISCONTIGMEM_ENABLE. So, if you enable it, it will end up being the default because there's no other choice.
