Would it make sense to have a session to try to resolve the current
cgroup v2 API disagreement?
In the interest of brevity, I'm not going to rehash the issues here,
but in extremely short summary, they include tasks in non-leaf cgroups
as well as whether threads in the same process can be in different
cgroups.

We could do it later on Tuesday, that way it might be possible to
include more of the containers crowd than are going to KS.

Do we have sufficient representation for both sides of that
disagreement at KS?

Yeah, sure. Do we have some time on Mon evening? I'm not sure I'll
be around Tue evening.
Thanks.

I hadn't planned on attending since I've been completely slammed with
internal stuff this year. But if this is happening I can probably
make a last minute booking.

I'll be in santa-fu all week. I figured if I'd go to the trouble of
dragging myself all the way to nowhere in the middle of NM, I might as
well stay there.
Godawful choice of location.

FWIW I'm only arriving tuesday morning; but obviously far more important
that Tejun be there, so I think I vote for monday night.

we have time Monday *afternoon*, if that works for folks. Monday
evening will conflict with the evening dinner, so if we want to do it
on Monday, we have free slots during the kernel summit core day. If
there are people who need to attend who aren't core day invitees, we
have invited people who are needed for a particular discussion into a
specific core plenary day session before.
The other alternative would be to either do it Tuesday (we have a room
availble), or Wednesday or Thursday, where the kernel summit does have
a room reserved for technical sessions and for which LPC attendees are
explicitly invited (just as people with Kernel Summit badges are
invited to participate in LPC events).
I note there is a Cgroup v2 API session scheduled as part of the
containers miniconference on Wednesday morning. I assume the goal is
try to settle this disagreement before the LPC minisummit?
Can someone give a summary of who the critical people are who need to
be present, and what their availability might be? Finding a room
shouldn't be a problem. It's going to people's availability....

Sorry, any location which is close to a major internaional airport is
incredibly expensive.
Personally, I was pushing for Providence, Rhode Island, which is about
45 minutes from the international airports at Boston or New York City
(Providence also has a larger airport than Santa Fe).
Unfortunately, when we were setting the location for Plumbers 18
months ago, people were still shell-shocked over the record snowfall
in the North East, and folks forgot that due to the altitude
differences (sea level versus 7200 feet), Providence is *warmer* and
has a historical average of 0 inches of snowfall this time of year.
Santa Fe is an amazing place to visit, with lots of great restaurants,
so hopefully you'll enjoy your stay, now that you've gotten here.
Cheers,
- Ted

It looks like everyone is available Tuesday. There's a Facebook event
Tuesday evening, so we can't be too late, but Tuesday Afternoon should
work. (Tejun is here all week, but has to go to the event).

Looks like
Tejun obviously needs to be there
Andy wants to be there, and I assume it relates to his code
There's an LXC contingency arriving monday night; I'd like
someone (Christian, Stéphane, or Tycho) to make it on Tuesday
if possible.
I'd like to be there, but I arrive at 10:30 Tuesday morning.
I don't think Eric Biederman is going to be in Santa Fe, but
he'd be good to have there.
I assume James Bottomley would like to be there?
(I assume there are others, but that's the list I'm aware of)

Sorry, wasn't looking at emails yesteray. Yeah, early Tue afternoon

Yes. (Provided you don't schedule it over anything I've said I'd go to,
which is why I like Tuesday). I've got something 09:30 on Tuesday, so
late morning or afternoon works.

Does 3pm work for everyone? Or would you like to do something a bit

I think 2pm would be better but 3pm works fine too. How about

Both work for me. Sounds like 2pm is the safer bet if noone has
a conflict.

Providence would be a great location.
Cleveland could be nice too. It is only an

reach from any international airport.
The city does not have a great reputation,
but it actually seems to have a decent
downtown, a world class art museum, etc.

think you've got enough people from both sides that there's no need to
retime this session again.
