Subject: One more TAB election reminder
Date: Thu, 19 Sep 2024 04:00:33 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <87plp0ezem.fsf@trenco.lwn.net> (raw)

One last reminder: the 2024 election for members of the Linux Foundation
Technical Advisory board will run from September 20 through 27. For the
previous announcement with the details, see:

  https://lwn.net/ml/all/87zforv3zc.fsf@trenco.lwn.net

The call for candidates will close, and voting will start, relatively
late in the day on the 20th; the exact timing will depend on when things
finish up at the Linux Plumbers Conference. Everybody who is eligible
for an automatic ballot or who has requested one will receive a
notification from the CIVS system once voting begins - but only if you
have enabled your email address with CIVS at:

  https://civs1.civs.us/cgi-bin/opt_in.pl

The list of candidates for the five open seats is currently:

  Amit Shah
  Daniel Borkmann
  Dave Hansen
  Jakub Kicinski
  Kees Cook
  Lorenzo Pieralisi
  Shuah Khan

The nomination period will close when voting starts.

For people at the Linux Plumbers Conference, there will be an "ask me
(almost) anything" session with the tab at 9:00AM Friday:

  https://lpc.events/event/18/contributions/1983/

Anybody who is interested in what the TAB is doing or considering
running for a seat is encouraged to attend.

Thanks,

The TAB elections team
