Agreed, as noted before.
Also, given the way the new CoC was introduced, I think the discussion
on modifying code-of-conduct.rst locally is mostly futile until we hear
some direction straight from the horse's mouth. However, nothing
prevents anyone from proposing improvements directly to Contributor
Covenant upstream.
